3D training

Normally, most of our 3D training will be given at our customer offices, but if your are looking for nice stay combining with some 3D-training we can offer a quiet and scenic surroundings. Our premises is a converted barn which is fully insulated, and where we have chosen to preserve some of the old barn. We can offer a prototype shop in the basement where the models can be printed out after a day’s work. We have cozy rooms for lectures / workshops / relaxation in the floors above. The space has capacity for 70 people in lecture. More info and pictures from the training room can be seen here: www.faarebygget.no

We give training in both 3Dprinting, 3Dscanning, 3Dsoftware, industrial design and prototyping. Just send us a mail on your needs and we will find a solution that fits your level. (mail: frode@3dprint.no)

Here are some picture from the area around the office (taken with mobile phone). The National Mountain “Stetind” is about 2 hours drive from the office. Frode Eldevik is a climbing instructor and can give guided tour on this mountain. Is worth a trip from all over the world to experience this. “Photographer: Frode Eldevik”.

Bring your  hole family for a stay if you like, and we will find some trips that suits everyone.

Frode at Eldevik Industrial design is also a instructor in Kiting and Climbing, and can give course in Lofoten as well. He also offer flying with tandem paraglider (see video below), moutain bike trips (full suspension), scubadiving trips to Lofoten, paintball, and other trips around the area!

Here is a video of what you can experience at the training center:)

The film below is taken by a close friend here in this area but it`s not Frode flying!

The office is laying within a very nice area at Hinnøya where it`s not far from Lofoten/Vesterålen (very popular tourist area). Frode also have a father that`s found in taking pictures (mostly from this area), and you can see them here: https://www.flickr.com/photos/132381487@N03/page1

Some nice videos from Lofoten and our area:

Video below is from all over Norway, but mostly from North (at least in the end of the film):

Anne Semb (Frode Eldevik’s wife) won the Norwegian volunteer award in 2010 including the work being done in Fårebygget Training Centre (our training center). In the picture below she is getting flowers and a hug from the Norwegian Prime Minister (now CEO for NATO). Eldevik Industrialdesigns headquartered is in Fårebygget, where much of the volunteer efforts going on. If you want an introduction to 3D-scan/print technology your are welcome to stay for free in Fårebygget, and maybe you catch a good concert or exhibition 🙂

The whole process was at least a great marketing for this wonderful village!
